A Great Weekend!

Well, the temperature was cold, but there wasn't much wind, and it wasn't too humid. I hear that those who went to the mountain had a great time. The toboggan runs were slick and fast - too fast for some. The skating was fine.

On Sunday afternoon the T&T girls had a party at the church while we waited for the teens to come back from their retreat. We had food galore and a good time. We played Bop It Extreme, made Valentine cards, and decorated cookies. We are a cooperative and creative bunch.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Well, our website calendar said we would cancel our winter outing if the temperature was to be below -10 degrees Celsius. They are predicting it will be only -11 by noon tomorrow. So that's cold enough to cancel it.

However, some of our Sparkies and their parents are eager to go, and they will. Any polar bears from other clubs are welcome to join them. Some of us are going to just stay home, but each family can decide whether they prefer to stay or go. Thankfully, it will be warmer tomorrow than it was today.

Tobogganning

Our calendar says that we will go tobogganning on Feb. 10th - if it's not too cold. It looks like it will be too cold this Saturday, so we will probably be rescheduling to either Feb. 24th or March 3rd. We'll decide on Friday.
