Awards Night

Awards Night is this coming Sunday!

We start at 6:30 pm, but do plan to be there at least a few minutes early so we can get organized. Try to be there for 6:20. (Of course, if your leader has asked you to be there earlier, come when your leader requested.) Don't forget to wear your uniform!

There will be refreshments afterwards.

We are asking clubbers to bring food as follows:

  • Cubbies - Fun finger foods (Animal crackers, cookies, cupcakes - no chips, pretzels, or popcorn)
  • T&T boys - Juice or soda
  • T&T girls - Healthy finger foods (Fruit, veggies, cheese and crackers, mini-sandwiches, deviled eggs, homemade oatmeal cookies - have fun with it, but keep it healthy. No store bought cookies or junk food!)
  • Sparks - just bring yourselves, your parents, and your uniform (with correct badges in place!)

Finally, the church picnic is on June 30th. All Awana families are invited. We'll give out details Sunday night.

Congratulations on some great team work!

Congratulations to all who came out and participated in our Games Night!

The leaders were all very happy with the way things went. We saw good cooperation and obedience to the rules. It was a good close competition.

Those of you who couldn't make it were missed.

I hear the Sparks are doing well in their preparation for Awards Night.

We hope to see you all there! Remember, it's on June 3rd.

Enjoy the long weekend!

I hope you all enjoy the long weekend!

Remember, there's no Awana this Friday, May 18th. Make sure you know where your uniform is though, so you have it for May 25th - our last meeting. Is it clean and in good shape? Are the badges all on? Are they in the right place? Be ready for a uniform inspection!

Remember, remember!

Remember to wear your uniforms!

And we ask all T&T clubbers and grade 2's to remember 2 Timothy 2:15

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

Remember this is our second to last Awana meeting for the year. There is no Awana next week. May 25th will be our final meeting for the year.
